how to remove glass on gauge cluster

any one know how to remove the glass (or plastic whatever) on the gauge cluster? i want to install a gauge bezel but most of the DIY ive seen for rings and whatnot do not seem to get in between the dial housing and the glass itself

any help would be appreciated.
