I NEED HELP! give me some advice on this bimmer

this is a bimmer im looking into i talked him down to 6000 just tell me if thats a good price for the bimmer considering its a 92 well lmk guys thanx

the specifications says its a good deal. clearly seeing the car in person will determine its value.

First things that i take into consideration just from the pic is that the car looks like it may have been repainted. make sure it is quality work and that it doesnt look too fresh. (im basing this on the fact that the door mouldings are painted white and the skirts and bumper must have been painted too. maybe they were done seperatly or maybe the car has been in an acident and had a quicky paint job where they couldnt be bothered to remove the moulding)

just something to consider when looking at the car. I was burned with a cover up paint job. Long story short its cost me more money than a MINT condition higher priced car.

always check quality of the paint.

ALWAYS pay a few bucks for the carfax report. A buddy of mine almost bought an E46 M3 - did a quick carfax first, found out it was a salvage title.

listen to the engine and the transmission when you go to see it. obviously take it for a drive.

if you can, have it inspected by a mechanic/shop that knows BMW's.

its 92 so you should check if the subframe is reenforced. If not, expect to pay pretty coin for it.

well, its an old car, so expect to pay some coins to put the car back on to the good shape. Im gussing a lot of maintence parts will be replaced.
Suspension parts and exhaust, small thing here and there.

I say talk it down to 5000.

he has the funky headlights, the dual projectors that look like integra headlights.

See it in person drive it look it over if it passes inspection why not

It is 92, 92 are not best e36 going, because it is the 1st gen, but if you like it go for it, yes go and see in person and go lower in the price.......
