clutch

well i gotta get it down asap went to the junk yard to look for some fenders but nothing and when i was coming home the i could not keep a speed cause of hills and going up a hill rpm goes up but ain't going fast when i let of the gas quick the rpm goes down quick. i was told it was the clutch from a couple of your guys on here what i was thinking was either the clutch or not enoght oil or the whoel tranny was going. so first iam gonna change the clutch never done it before but seen it done. also what kind of clutch should i get and where should i get from?? what prices 250$????
is it hard to change the clutch??
thanks alot really need some help it's my daily driver

also if anyone has a flywheel maybe 325i flywheel or better one that a 325e flywheel

A little OT, but I was looking into getting a Sachs Cluth (dont need a new clutch, just to upgrade), street performance only so I think thats stage 1? 2? anyway this can prollie help both of us incase you think of upgrading BMW1718. Anyone have any info. recommendations to offer.

If you are looking to replace the clutch replace it with a new Sachs stock disc, or more prefered a complete Sachs stock clutch kit with new pressure plate and TO bearing as well.

Unless your m20 is making more then 200hp there is really no reason to upgrade the clutch. The stock unit will last well over 150k mi and will hold up to 200hp just fine.

where did you get 120k from...?

A unmolested stock clutch will last well over 250k mi when the operator isn't an idiot.

well this must a stock clutch than cause the cars got 330k on it
