98' M3 springs on a 94' 325i?

hey guys, quick question, my rear spring is broken, need to replace the rear springs, bmw is charging me $578.85+tax for replacing my rear springs, but i found a local seller who's selling 98 m3 springs for fronts and back, would these spring fit my 4dr 94' 325i? would it be a direct replacement with no problems? please let me know, my car is in bmw waiting for my call.. heh.. thanx

Rears are the same (slightly stiffer) but the fronts are different. You need the M3 spring hats I believe, and I'm not sure if the bottom spring perch is the same ... they definitly work, but you might also need the front M3 struts. I'll let someone with experience answer, but worst case, you can use just the rears for now.

the fronts are different. the physical size of them are different and front shock perch is different. if you had the complete shock/spring/upper strut bearings, then it will bolt on. the rear springs are going to be different spring rate as well, but physically will mount in place. i wouldnt put just the m3 rears in. thats my .02
