A-Pillar Gauge Pod for e36

Hey anybody know where I can get a gauge Pod to go on my A-Pillar? I'm looking for one that is made specifically to fit on the e36 not a universal fit? I've seen the car specific pods for sale but only for hondas etc. never for BMWs

Yes, autometer makes them.
Any performance store should be able to order it for you.

PM qwk325 he offered me his this summer, but I needed one for a sedan, he might still have it.

How many pods do you need? Autometer only has single, and double pods. If you need triple you will need to custom frabicate them together to look good. Adriano did this.

Pivot makes single, double, and triple A pillar pod mounts, you can only fit standard 52mm gauges in there.

you can also opt for the centre console pods for a cleaner look, this pod is made by VDO:

Now, is there a reason we would actually need to know this information for daily driving, or is it more for show? I guess I can understand the boost, but even then is it really necessary to know or is it more bling?

@Justin: where does that centre console thing go? would it fit my 1996 cabriolet? and can you put any gauge in there, or only the 3 shown in that pic?

it would look amazing with oil temp, coolant temp, and an analogue clock in there!

That goes in your centre console whre your sunglass holder is currently behind your shifter. See on the console where the hole on the left is for the cigarette lighter, and the 5 square holes is where your other options will go. (heated seats, traction control, premium sound switch, car alarm LED, etc.)

Thanks alot guys, I'm lookin for a double pod, hopefully I'll be able to find one. I want a factory look, hopefully I can find one that is the entire A - Pillar peice, not just a Pod that screws to the factory peice because I wanna wrap it in the factory fabric too.

There are no complete a-pillar replacements for e36's.
