how much you spend on a Spare Key?
today i went to BMW in Thornhill to make a spare key 4 my e30...then to find out its coming from germany n im waiting a week n on top of that i have to pay $ 70.15

I paid $50 taxes in for two and waited two business days. They are BS'ing you, they get cut in Whitby.

that was the same price for my key. it came with the light.

i've heard that there is a locksmith at centerpoint mall (steeles & yonge) can cut the oe key blank. never try though.

I bought an OEM blank key from ebay. Then had it cut at the guy in centerpoint. He also cuts the regular ugly keys for cheap.

But if your original keys are not working because your key/lock is worn then how do you get a key cut from code?

it cost me $5.45 for 2 keys...1 had a plastic piece on it and the other was all metal, i just went to a lock place

yeah i don't know what these guys are crying about, i spent 140 for my lazer cut keys, thank god they didn't have the remote attached.
