Question 1986 Bmw 325

Hey guys,

I just bought an 86 BMW 325 for pretty cheap with no rust it has about 250 000km on it, buti think i got a good deal on it, i only paid $500 for it. I would like to put the 89 325i rear bumper, now my question is will it be a direct fit? and also i would like to know if anyone has the stock radio because mine makes a crackling sound everytime i touch the volume knob. BTW i love this car!!!

Thanks

No, you need to modify the rear bumper to make it fit.

Search, it's been covered 11venty billion times.

i think metal bumbers look classy
but only on grey or black cars

just polish them - they'll look pimp

Rear plastic bumpers are NOT a direct bolt on for the 84 to 87. (they bolt on the 88 tho!). The rear i had on my white car fits any E30, just needs 10 min of trimming! After a good intall, this is what it looks like...

the rear doesn't swap directly over it requires a little trimming and some work. Jordan did a great write up on r3v. Doesn't seem to hard if you take your time and follow the write up. Good luck.

.. body kit does not look better than plastic bumper swap. Doesnt keep the look of the car in my opinion.
Check out the write up on r3v for the swap. I suggest you get someone who knows what they are doing tho, you'll just butcher it if not.
