front speaker size

every1 here must know the size. im to lazy to go check myself so somebody tell me the size.....is it the same size as the back??

5.25" all around.

If you're upgrading, get 6.5's in there. It doesn't take too much work.

i have 5.25 mb quartz in mine. Sounds mint. Now im just looking for a good set of tweeters. Maybe i'll upgrade to the mb quartz component set

Yes they are 5.25s all the way around, and you can put 6.5s in the back

one more thing i need, how do i take off that damn trim/ speaker cover for the front? i see one screw there but i think it takes more than that to take off that plastic cover.

i got MB quart front and back with tweeters....8 speaker set up... MB sounds great

^^^^what I mean is you make a piece to replace the rear specker pod, if you the B.W set 5.25+ tweater it may look like 6x9 piece....what year are all your cars everyone intristed in this...

take the screw out that u can see on the fronts. theres a couple bolts that mount the hood thing on the dr. side that u need to take out too. take the weather stripping back a bit and slid the panels out. u might need to take the kick plate off from under ther steering wheel too, just 3 flatheads along the front.

i don't no if it is a good idea tho but i went to the junk yard and found some nice polks speckers so i was thinking that i might make 2 more wholes and have 4 speckers in the back good idea??? what should i use to cut the metal????

You have to cut to much of the rear deck out for (4) speackers........
