Outer reaches of the 407. But - look way ahead for possible cruisers on the side, others braking for apparently no reason.

Why not sign up for a track school on a BIG track? You could prolly ax out the E30 on a long straight.

The DVP, I wish I could go from the 401 to the Gardiner without ever going under 200 (legally). It's actually a pretty fun highway at speed.

Wish?

Man...tickets, lawyers, court fees, and rising insurance are just driving taxes. Life is too short, go nuts.

And Nelson, I've done that DVP sprint in something like 5 minutes. Didn't stay over 200, but probably averaged 190 or so.

Hockley Valley and Forks for me. That's my backyard, see way to many cops out there.

i speed alll the time..

The key is doing it with no traffic and clear roads ahead... and when you see the cherries behind you.. downshift. its not hard outrunning a crown vic, they top out at a measly 120mph(chipped) and their tires are only rated for 200km/h for insurance reasons.. .. and whoever says you can't outrun a motorla is a bitch .. take the 2nd exit and make a left!

I'v outrun the law about 4 times now......gets ya a cool adrenaline rush/high.. when ya get home your still pumped for hours.. maybe im just such a wuss

I used to do the 401 (I think) from NF to Hamilton. We used to float up one of those stretches. I used to top out my Neon at 119mph very often up that stretch.

if your not looking for just speed in a straight line, driving the 403 just West of Guelph line in Burlington, on the way to Hamilton is amazing, its really curvey and even doing 140-160 your flying past cars. They seem to think that a few turns makes it nessessary to do 90-100kmph.

With good speed rated summer tires you could probably do this highway at 160-180kmph no problem.

Regards,

Warren

Sorry,

I misread the original post.

There's a road between Peterborough and Lakefield that snakes along the Otonobee river... Water on one side and trees on the other. When my parents had a boat in lakefield, the road was repaved and silky smooth. Actually, cops and high speeds were not really an issue. The road has tons of tight turns. It's the slower traffic that's a PITA. Very few passing opportunities with all the blind corners.

I agree with Zimmie, ramps are fun to find your car's limit, and to see how where your own limit is.....

I'v hit 256kph down the QEW > Niagra falls right past Centenial PRKWAY, nice bend arond there too. car felt like it was on rails..

Only thing i don't like ramps in your either going to go into the concrete wall, or down the hill/slope and into a ditch!! if you go to far!
