Kyoto accord is way too complicated for most Canadians (me included) to understand. All it means to me is a deal between countries to promise to reduce emmisions. Well, why do we need a deal with anyone to do that? Why can't we do it without promising someone we'll do it. This election is a one issue election for me. Childcare. I don't want my tax dollars going towards childcare for someone elses child unless they also give an equal subsidy to my wife who stays home to raise our 4 children. So what if Harper is promising a family such as mine only $25.00 /month. That money would pay for my daughters gymnastics , or maybe a subscription to a childrens magazine or... if my wife chose to go to work, she could use the 25 bucks towards paying a babysitter. The truth is, I think the Liberals could use a couple years of sitting in Opposition to clean up their act. A slice of humble pie never killed anyone.

Thats my rant. Been dying to say it.

Agreed.
As much as I'm not the biggest fan of Harper, voting in the Liberals again would be a moral travesty, which we would pay for.
We cannot give our Governments the idea that they can go out and squander our hard earned money on kickbacks and whatever else they feel like and get away with it. That would be a very dangerous precedence.
Liberals need to be defeated badly to teach not only them, but any other future Government that they will pay a political price should they decide to handle our money improperly.
That is OUR money, not theirs. If they have a surplus, it should be given back to us.
