Too late! The truck sold 2-3 hours after it was delivered to our Dealership! There is big demand for this truck at our dealership so it won't last long when the next one comes in!

I took it for a road test... Then detailed it... Then drove it infront of the showroom for customers to see it... Then went to lunch... Came back from lunch and it was sold. LOL

It had to be the damn good detail job that I did on the truck!

Rims/Tires:

285/40/20 in the rear.

Oh... and it's 4 wheel drive all the time.

niceee...

the only thing that's odd is that they don't have a 6 speed...doesn't really matter tho, but it's just that all the new SUV/SAVs have 6 gears

That's nutz!!

Can it break the tires loose with AWD and all that power?

There's still something wrong with an SUV having that kind of performance though. The manufacturers should get their heads on right and reserve that stuff for their real performance cars like, supposedly the SRT8 versions Charger, 300, Magnum. This Jeep appears to outperform all of those.

One more thing...GM beat Chrylser/Jeep to these performance numbers (at least accelleration) more than 15 years ago with the Syclone and Typhoon.

Trust me when I say this... Hell Yea, even with the big ass 285/40/20 rear wheels. Mind you... I had traction control off cuz it was much more fun driving it this way.

You can easily light the tires up still even tho it is 4 wheel drive. I like the 4 wheel drive option cuz once it gets going (with traction control off) it grips very nicely cuz all the tires are gripping well.

Oh and uh yea... About GM... It is impressive that they did that 15 years ago but it's still a crap quality GM.

By quality iam guessing the interior and stuff at that time. Not drivetrain.
GM has always pretty much had better drivetrain than Ford ans Chrysler.

I always found GM vehicles to be really cheap quality and the engines just seem really crap quality also... you can even tell when you start them up and drive them. It feels like the whole car is gonna fall apart on you very soon and the car won't last past 100,000km without blowing up.

Chrysler is the best when it comes to quality (IMO when Compared to the big 3... Chrysler, Ford & GM) since Mercedes and Chrysler merged together. Their quality has sure as hell gone up. They were not bad before but they got even better.

thats it im trading my crappy slow Mercedes chrysler for chrysler mercedes SRT lol I wouldnt be surprised ot find out that this 6.1 was made out of 5.5 AMG version, coz that 5 speed is from mercedes for sure.

I really like the car, and after few tuners will be done with it, welcome to 500hp.

LIke z06 there's already parts like camshaft and headers full exhaust, + 100 additional HP.

Maybe you should swap the SRT8 motor into the ML. At least it'll be sorta all the same badge still.

The statement about Chrysler quality vs GM got me thinking. Considering the fleet of company cars at my office, we used GM in the past and now have Chryslers....they all suck!!! Each vehicle experienced the exact same problems.

You can actually tell that some parts of the interior reflect Mercedes in some ways. I think it is a beautiful truck (SRT8).

If you are serious about inquiring about actually buying one I can talk to the owner of the dealership and tell them (Husband and Wife...Wife is owner) that a friend of mine is interested in purchasing a 2006 SRT8 Grand Cherokee and he has a 2004 or 2005 Mercedes ML350 that he would like to trade in and to give him the best possible price.

But if you are not serious and are trying to just get a test drive you won't get one without some $ on the table, so don't waste my time and leave a bad impression on me.

Let me know.

What cars did they give you guys (year also)? Cuz I'm generalizing... nobody makes anything perfect. There is always a problematic car or two with every company.
