Looking for a gas tank E30 up to 9/87

If anyone has a gas tank for sale or know of one that is .......... in good condition that is not rotting out and isn't dented in, please drop me a PM or post here. I have two of them but both are dented in on the passenger side. For the car we are restoring, this isn't acceptable.

Oh, and those two that I have don't leak and work fine. So if anyone is in need, or wants to swap their good one for one of these and I throw you some cash........... hey, I'm all good with that. How often do you look under your car anyways

off topic tominizer, but what exactly are you restoring? What should we expect from this e30 you are rebuilding?

Doesn't the larger capacity later tank swap in?

Woofer; '87 E30 M3, black on black. Nutz and bolts resto. It's nothing special but the work being done in a manner to create a solid base for future plans of which I'm not talking about.......... yet.

It does but the fuel delivery system is different from what I understand for an E30 M3......... which is the car I'm working on.

Heard good things about these guys.

http://nbgastanks.com/

They sell new E30 tanks for a very reasonable price and are in Canada.

I have two that I believe are leak free........... but dented in from the bottom on the passenger side............. cheap !!!

$260 for aftermarket versus almost $800 from the stealership........... and Whitby has one left.
