New E30 Owner Help Help Help

Hey guys, I just bought a 1990 325i, the owner said it wasn't used for a good 8 months just sittin outside, the car wont start I even put a brand new battery in, but when I try to jump start it, it does start but is really sluggish and sounds terrible, before i take it to a mechanic im wondering what the problem might be I dont wanna get ripped off, and does anyone know a really good mechanic for these cars in downtown toronto? thanks alot

Just bring the car to Bimmersport Automotive and let Charlie look at it, best service/prices you will find! He is in Mississauga but it's worth the drive!

If its been sitting, and there was gas in the tank, then the gas is bad, very bad, also check your plugs. Fuel filter, air filter, for sure needs fresh oil. definitely the gas is bad if it has been sitting.

You can check by starting the car, disconecting the battery, if car dies then alternator is gone!
