No they will not fit a 7 series, I had a set off my dad's old 7 and tried to put them on my 5 series and they would not fit.

Were high or drunk when you tried to mount them??
Cause those wheels came off E38 7 series.

Maybe it is not the spacing, but the 7 series wheels would not fit on my 5 series, the bolts would not line up.

No I was not high or drunk, these wheels did not come off a 7 Series, they came off a 03 540i with M Executive Sports package.

whoa, before this comes out of hand, M parallels are an option for E39 now.

The reason why the 7 series wheels would not fit on the E39 is because E39 has a larger hub than E38. 7 series wheels don't fit on E39 but E39 wheels fit on 7 series.

ohhh yes you right, they could be off e39
anyway, they fit e38, you just need $5 hubcentric rings
i dunno why you couldnt line up the bolts though.
they definitly line up, no problem
