FS:E30 '88 325iS
Well after much deliberation I have decide to sell my E30. We have a new baby coming in the spring, and I need to get a 4 door so here we go.
1988 325iS, 236 XXX Km's
Champange exterior, Tan Cloth interior.
5 speed, cruise, A/C(needs charging), Heated seat(no worky), Power mirrors, power windows, power sunroof, and locks.
Drivers seat is pooched, passenger seat has a small rip, back seat is mint.
I bought the car last July, mainly becuase the body is really good, absolutely no rust in any of the problem areas. A little bit of rust is showing on the front valance and on the passenger door corners, sunroof panel is toast but I have a mint perfect mint panel that I got from Zimmie to replace it. Also the iS lip was stolen.
Car was Cert & E-tested in the summer. E-test is good for 1 year. I have also replaced both front wheel bearings.
Car will need parking brakes and cables.
Car has a P-Steering drip, and a gas drip(ask for more explanation if you like.)
all the repairs I was going to fix with all new parts until I got the good news.
So I am selling the car AS IS with a valid E-test, 4 BMW Steelies with Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires, and 5 basketweaves(codition is questionable)
Oh and a Thule roof rack, chiltons manual and a service maual on CD-Rom. Has a JVC in dash CD player(non-mp3) and I have a 12 disc CD changer to go with.
Price: $3400.00 OBO
(I paid $4000 for this car last summer so I would like to get some of my money back)
Any questions at all, PM me or email to mattburns_@hotmail.com.
Thanks

OBO......reasonable offers will be considered.
Also considering that I paid $4000.00 for it less than 6 months ago. and it was certified. goes to show you that alot can change in a 6 month window, espescially with a 17 year old car. I don't want to loose my shirt, but I will entertain offers trades are welcome.
If there isn't any interest in this car, I will be fixing it to be certified by the spring, then the price goes up.

I had a question about service history, there is no service history on this car, nothing to say what has been done in the last couple of years. I believe this car has great potential, the motor runs strong and gets good gas mileage, and the E-test shows very low results in every catagory. Somebody needs to make this car what it should be. Unfortunatley it won't be me.
Edit: Just an update, I'm looking in to getting the gas leak fixed tomorrow.

Bronzit is not the most popular E30 colour. Second worse is cirrusblau (my colour).
Good luck with the sale, good base!
**Willing to part the thule rack seperately?**

I think my color is the same as ur tomek. I could be wrong. If they are the same i love the silvery-blue. Seen some really nice ones in the states.

No offence, but if you get 2000 for this car, I would celebrate, like its the year 1999.
BTW, you got ripped when you bought it.

Yeah tell me about it, the point is that I would keep it, but I can't, I have other priorities and I must sell it, so I am open to offers, sorry $2000 is not enough, trust me the car is solid. I would consider $2900.00 as is, I will keep the snows.
