yeah I remember seeing it last year, looks really sharp, mainly because you already have the new style front & rear lights, damn I wish I had money for those lights, better yet, why don't just steal them off your dad & he can claim theft

My 540, which is for sale BTW... has 257,000 on the clock, and it is still running strong as ever! Plus it'll still smoke most of the cars on the road.
I have not run into any engine problems whatsoever, but then I spend the time and money on maintenance. I posted my maintenance record for the past 2 yrs for potential buyers to review, so you can have an idea what the costs are like.
540 maint record and pix
For an average car, 200+ may be a red flag, but in my experience with my 540, a well maintained 540 is suprisingly solid.

rofl u canadians are funny, ever been to europe?? the bmws there are like 15 years old with 500,xxx kms and still puttin around.
180,000 on that 5'er is nothing.... atleast should be nothing... i see e36 M3s with more mileage still goin strong, and those are high strung motors compared to that dinky 528 :p
I get Magazines from Acura, and i recall ths one dude , they had an article about him 2 pages long regarding a 93 Acura NSX w/over 500,000kms... haha! can u believe it.. all hes done is maintaince, the only thing that he replaced that went was the battery.. crazy .. but then again, acura > bmw in terms of reliability

My 325i has finally started to crap out on me, but this is after 330km and i drive hard and race in the summer!
The only problem i know with early E39's is they had some electrical problems, and from what i've heard/seen, the auto transmissions aren't the best!
Same goes for early E46's
