How can it fit on a 318? Wouldnt that defeat the purpose of lowering? since the 1.8L is lighter than the 2.8?

Hi Gamite,

I have checked the code (H&R springs) on the web.
It mention it fit on any 3 Series 318/325/328 2/4 Doors. (Not M3).

Maybe i'm going to post up the code tonite and you can check it out for me as well (Thanks.!)

Please correct me if i'm wrong.

Thanks.

Hi SOLDOMATIC 325i,

If you want it Stiffer, you have to get the Shocks too.

I use the original BMW Shocks + H&R springs without any problem. 1.5" in the front and 1" in the rear.

Let me know if u're interested.

What? No it doesn't, it will fit 325 and 328, but for sure not 318. You would have to swap the entire suspension just to make it fit (struts, strut mounts, shocks and shock mounts are the same).

I use to work for a distributor who sold mainly H&R springs, and the main reason they have different part numbers of H&R springs for 318, 325 and 328 is because the springs are "different".

Anyone that reads this thread, the springs will only work with 325 or 328, I'm just making sure no more mishaps with people buying springs which don't fit their cars.

Bryan

I'm so sorry.. I just gave my spring code number for my friend and he check that for me and said it's for 318/325/328.

THANKS Autotechnica for the correction.

Guyz. Only 325 / 328...

Please let me know if anyone interested.
