Authentic BMW M3 Europlate adn holder

Bought this for my cousin for x-mas who had a 2003 M3 but found out his leased was over and he bought a X5 4.6 in early December..urggg..I decided to get him another gift...this is a authentic german Europlate and NOT a American or Canadian imitation..this has the DIN hidden(only viewed when tilted)stamp on the plate..I ordered directly it from Germany and the shipping and duties was a killer.I want to break even..$50cdn and that includes the holder...pick up around the 401/400 area

Sorry to jump in this thread but that is not an "authentic" plate. What do you mean by "authentic" ? You cannot register a vehicle with those plates in Germany. I can't see the "tüv" stamp on it. Which is needed to be on German plates. In germany there is no personalized plates like that. It still needs to have the region code on it. As in SB, BAR, F etc etc....

DIN code? What are you talking about?

DIN plates are the old style german plates which were used, I think before 1994, then after 1994 they brought out the new style plates with the blue strip on it.

You need the 2 stamps on the plates as well.

authentic means the plate was stamped in Germany, not a american pressing. You can buy replica plates anywhere, this was ordered from a german supplier.Of course you cannot registered this plate.
