Angry FCKING PISSSED!...stuff from garage stolen(rant)

This hasn't been the greatest week for me....everything starting FCKING up last night with a family membe rin the hospital

and it only gets worse....this morning my parents told me to shovel the driveway so that when they got home they'd have an easy time parking....so i do so...wasn't a total biatch.

Afterwards, i look to close the garage door and go inside...but we have one of those sensor garage doors where if something's detected between the two sensors on each end it does nto close and holds it open.....after trying to fix it after 3 or 4 attempts.....the door WOULD NOT close i leave it and go inside to call the garage door guy's # as he was just here a fwe days ago installing a broken spring.....20 mins or so later i return to my garage....GEUSS WHAT

WIPED FCKING CLEAN!!!!

stolen items:
Two shovels

Various gardening equipment

my vinyl weight set that i was supposed to sell TONIGHT to a fellow maxmember, sorry dave

I went across thte street, next door and my neighbours saw nothing

what a great effing start to the holidays....replacing these items isn't much of a pain since they weren't very expensive items.....but it's the fact that somebody has the balls to go on waltz'n onto someone elses property and take tehir stuff I wish i'd seen em midway and got to take a few swings at them with the gardening equipment

thnx for reading

oh, and happy holidays

welcome to rexdale. your garage door has a safety mechanism to release it from the garage door motor so you can close it manually. It won't lock, but it'll close at least. Usually it's a handle that you pull hanging from the garage door opener.

how many LBs of weights were there?... if it was a lot, I doubt they left on foot.

thanks guys, i'm quite the optimistic guy so theres no way i'll let this hamper my entire winter break

it was quite the amount of lbs justin(all the vinyls in my ad)...but the thing is there were NO TIRE marks on my driveway....only the actual road....there WERE foot marks so my reasoning is they carried it to a car...but how could NOBODY see this happen in BROAD DAYLIGHT?

yes i know about that manual pull down thing but i figured i'd only be a second to ask the garage door guy to come down to give it a look.

But guess what when my dad came home a while ago....it works again

much needed laughter....thanks

but my dad told me this happens sometimes all u need to do is clean the lens because it sometimes gets snow/ice on it which messes up the view....

a late lesson learned....but one learned indeed

i'm so lucky i didn't have the iron weights in the garage...if those got stolen as well i'd probably spend 20 mins sealing off the area trying to pull a CSI finding the tire marks/patterns etc

Sorry to hear about this bad luck!

While it is unlikely that your property will be found/returned, I hope those thieves get what they deserve.

I've had my garage broken into a few times so I know the feeling. I now have cameras, motion sensors, and a monitored alarm system.

Live and learn... c'est la vie.
