I still prefer the 993TT over any '99+ body 911TT... so sexy, curvy and voluptuous. Now, all the (Turbo) bodywork looks like an "after thought" of function following form with the 996/7 chassis. I'm sure TechART will make this version sexy again (like the seem to save all Porsche's current designs)

the 993tt is probably the best styled 911 ever. but it is good to see them go back to the round headlights instead of the 996 design.

like furious said, porsche just gets better and better. except for the first version of the 996. <--they were too much of a old man's car.

definately love the new 997 styling. This has filtered through not just the 911s (turbo, carrera, etc...) but als to boxter and the caymans...

Hopefully my old man returns the E60 and gets one of these. Showed him the pictures and he's in love.

Looks good minus the fog lights in the bumpers.

amen to that!!!

But I think porsche realized their mistake with the 996 and are trying to win the loyal fans back with the 997.

997 looks pretty good, I was comparing 997 to a 996 turbo, and I favoured the shape of the 997, so they MUST be doing something right.

996 is like a big blob, there's no characteristics in it at all

look at how the whole front end is one constant slope

now look at 997, see how the headlights are at a different angle? the front bumper angles downwards. Much more shape variation. 997 is a much better shaped car.
