hmmm.... you sure that this is COMPLETELY new..because the battery life is a bit broad for a NEW computer... 1.5 - 3.5 hours...sounds like the battery cant hold 100 percent charge any more?...

the battery life varries on what (how many programs, wireless internet, cd rom, etc.) and how the computer is running (watching a dvd, screen set to the brightest setting, etc). im using a sony laptop right now and i bought the extended battery (highly suggest).
