The Dinan chip made no noticable difference.
AA chip was OK, but nothing big.
JimC I only ran for ~3days, but it was nice.
MarkD's chip was a serious kick in the pants.
Alpina B27 tided me over for a few days before I went to Unichip.
UNICHIP is a very nice piggyback computer. I currently have it piggybacked to my stock chipped 173 ECU. It allows me full and complete control over any parameter the ECU can monitor, adjust to, or change. It also allows me to run my MAF sensor instead of the shitty AFM.

Right on, thanks man
I used to be set on'a Jim C, heard nothing but great things about it being best and rode in buddies car after he had it....what a difference. But since I heard about Mark, ive heard the same, and prefer his service because its local, and he's been a great help the few times we've spoken.

Not to mention rode in a buddies E30 with a Mark D 91 chip, and could not feel any noteable difference bw/ his and the Jim C. Not to mention I have bigger injectors, so I want to go with MD 93.

Man, I haven't gone to anything but a Sunoco in so many years...
They have a stranglehold on me.

Haha, I love 87 octane. Cheap.
If I didn't have to commute 1000 kms a week this fall I would have already gotten a MarkD chip and M50 injectors. Actually I tried to get the injectors but the deal fell through.

1000km a week means only $14 extra per week, given the same consumption. And we all know your mileage measurably improves with the software.
It's really negligible.

$300 + is not negligable.
