318 Is 1992

Hi, I have a E30 325i (1989) right, but i have spotted a 318IS 92, it look clean.
i don't have detail about it ( i dont know how many KM on it) but i just want to know how reliable Is a 318IS. I want a 318 because i tired of my car hunger for gaz. Performance are not that important for me, that's why this 318is 92 got my attention, I know that E36 in Is got Lsd ( like my E30) since i use my car in winter that's really useful. so what are the big probleme of a E36 318is ?
to change or not to change :-) ?

hey

good cars i have a 93, apparantly without LSD so maybe not all em come with it??

you could search for" Profile gasket " this was a common failure.
but due to the cars age maybe it's been replaced.

Trailing arms in the rear, the bushes can get worn & rip out of the floor $$$
but being a 318 it probably hasn't been Torque abused, like a 325/28 might have been

I'm not sure about quebec, but here in the US not all 318iS had the LSD option. Make sure you double check.

Mine was extremely bulletproof and if it is well cared for it should be very reliable.

Ya on E36 models the Is, just means 2dr.... its not the same with E30's where the IS model meant it came with leather and LSD, etc.

change ton char mec! le e30 c'est pas mal style 80s

le e36 c'est plutot style de croozer de filles en masse.

e36 = plus cool que e30.

point finale.

non mais c'est surtout le coter confort et economie d'essence et Plus recent aussi. Ma blonde trip pas trop sur le confort de la E30. Coter look J'aime les coter 'old school' des E30 mais c'Est pas mal moin pratique comme char.
