winter storage

i have no garage/no driveway space so my e30 is sittin in my front yard. aside from brushing off the snow and runin the motor daily, is there anything else i could do or should do while leave the car over winter?(nun too extreme ppl )

Some guys recommend not running the motor at all through winter if the car isnt going to go for a good run. But then again some beleive in starting it every so often. There was a good thread about this in one of the forums, search will prollie bring it up.
