A lot of excellent movies were mentioned, but your forgetitng some classics.
You really have to catch the jokes, and have a good sense of humour to appreciate these:
Robin Hood Men in Tights
Hot Shots
Airplane I and II
Coming to America
Scary Movie 1, 2 and 3
If you havent seen this, I suggest renting it:
Robin Williams Live on Broadway. You will piss yourself.
Theres a bunch more that arent popping into my head at the moment. But most of the ones posted I pretty much enjoyed them all.

I dunno, it's definitely not a top 5/10 movie but I am extremely fond of it for ONE moment, when the old tard shoots the cow in the face with a shotgun. I was laughing in a fetal position on the floor for like 5 minutes. The tard himself, and the way the cow was trying to sniff the barrel before getting shot, the shot itself, that was just ****ing priceless.

I usually laugh at really stupid stuff, but I didn't even laugh in the first 5 minutes of Napolean Dynamite, which was the only part I watched. Sucked.

problem was that there was so much hype about the movie.
i watched it before any of my friends heard of it, and i thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. and than i showed them the movie, and we all loved it, quoting the movie every 5 seconds.
and than when everybody was like, this is the best movie ever, you have to watch this blah blah blah... everybody else who watched the movie after hearing it was so good, and after hearing all the quotes, obviously thought it was a huge disappointment.
my top 5 comedies
-friday
-don't be a menace
-napoleon dynamite
-office space
-half baked
cheech and chong up in smoke gets an honorable mention.
