Really Low Gas Milage.

Alright, I did an expiment to see if its my driving habits were effecting my low gas milage/ High Consumption. After two tank fulls of just "driving normal" i.e. not flooring it, keeping under 2.5K rpm, and trying to keep the consumption gauge thingy at 10, still i'm only getting MAX 250 Km's per tank. So I did some looking around. I recharged my dirty Cone Air filter, and changed oil and Fackkk still i'm getting low gas milage. My comsumption is at 14 L/100 km. Using 89 Octane. Haven't gotten to cleaning my injectors but I just did that 2 months ago. If anyone can help that would be great. Its just been raping me up the ass.

Thanks in advance.

Ohh yeah for those that don't know its a 88 325i

If they're 60L tanks and your getting 250km's MAX, i've got news for you!

your consumption is 24L/100km's which is worse than Jeremy's HEMI!

Jer..... your such a hippy, why buy a truck with such GOOD fuel consumption, **** THE ENVIROMENT!

Is that all city driving? any highway?

you gotta consider the kind of driving.....idling, stop n go, traffic, short trips, etc.

My consumption went up alot also, but its around the 12.something mark now. Used to be in the 10s.

That is insane mileage my 88 325is gets 500 - 550kms per tank and I'm not always "driving normal". I also sit in stop and go traffic most of the time so it isn't like thoes are cruising kms.
