Well, that's the difference in a undergrad degree and college. College, with the right skills training, you could earn excellent dollars from the start. With university, depending on your field of study, you might start at $35-$45K range, but once you gain some expertise in your field, you will move faster and your ceiling will not come as quickly... One of the guys who worked for us started at $40K as a fresh grad, spent a year learning logistics and operations and now has moved on to a company where he's making more... he's only 1 year out of school...

As for this campus argument UWO is the closest thing I've ever seen to an americna style campus, but its enormous and London often feels like ****in' Alaska.

As for Ryerson vs. St. George overall doesn't Ryerson let like anyone and their mother in?
if you think normal grad school will help you find a job, your mistaken. prob make it harder from you to get a job

He's almost right...

An MBA with no work experience isn't worth much at all... You're better off getting 2-3 years under your belt first...

I had a friend who did his MBA right after school... Guess what he's doing? He's in corporate accounts with a computer company... I didn't do my MBA and I'm in the same type of role... And I make more then he does... because I've had 2 more years experience in the market. Getting an MBA without any experience is not always advisable...

any good business school will never take you with no experience

your right, its useless... mbas are good if you know what you want

Rotman, Ivey, Queen's all require experience. your friend must have went to laurier or something.. a school that requires no GMAT as well

MBA is all about the reputation and alumni network

I have to disagree here. MBA is still academic, still much theory and such is learned/furthered...

lets see, we have one campus right beside the financial district...beside yorkville, the trendiest area/heart of the city... then we have one campus beside all the hookers and right across the street from gayville (not that theres anything wrong with that)

seems pretty clear to me
