York University is the only Canadian university to make it into Playboy's top 10 list for hottest university girls.

You both lose.

The playboy girls come to York every year for various events and to promote various events. Sometimes the playboy girls DJ the events too. (i.e. Colleen Shannon) Guess who the gentleman responsible for these events is? Hint, he's not even a York student and drives an e36.

McGill University is on this year's Playboy list for Top 10 party schools. Western made the cut a few years previous.

As far as girls go , Western is dope. Our Campus is real nice too, like matured nicely, lotta old buildings, but the one thing is its'a bitch to get around (like in comparison to a ryerson or laurier) cuz its Enormous.

Dam & V-Thang, do you guys both go to UWO also?

On a funny note, Western made David Lettermans Top 10 Schools in AMERICA to get laid at lol. It was the only non-U.S. school on the list lol.

Western Campus is very nice. Lot of old buildings, and the newer ones are made to kind of look old as well so they blend in. The building kid of remind me of an American university. Girls are insane too. Only bad part like Sheldon said is the walk. In the winter you need to shitstomp in the copius amounts of snow so far to get from class to class.

Really... hrmmm... If you went to university you might know that "highering" as you referred to is not even a word... The spelling of the word you were going for is hiring. Secondly, the sentence should read "a 98% employment rate"

Dude - don't knock something because you have no knowledge of it...

I wasn't really trying to "own" him, but his ignorance on the subject is rediculous... University is a waste of time - come on! Have some education on the stat's of what people make out of university and college. Yes college is an excellent option for higher learning, but a university degree is no "waste of time". Tell that to my wife who has 2 of them and does something not any Joe-Blow off the street could. She's a pediatric physiotherapist.

College's are excellent for trades and skilled careers, but university is designed for giving you things like deductive and inductive reasoning, higher thought processes, and certain acumen... I don't think one is better than the other, I think everyone needs to make the choice for themselves and what they want to do with their lives. If college will offer you something you think you will be happy with long term, then all the power to you. The same should be said for university...

oh yea and how can you compare ryerson and st. George. LOL. That's all I'm gonna say.

U of T > York > Ryerson. thats a fact. And I go to Ryerson. That's what happens when you have the lowest operating budget of all universities.
Not to mention a school that just became a full fledged university in 1993! Ryerson's a baby!

BTW: I did time at U of T... Many moons ago...

I think all a degree really means is that you have the capacity for higher learning, and alot of the skills needed will come with experience in your specific field. I'm still afraid I'll finish my undergrad and find it hard to get a decent job thats why I'm planning for grad school

As for this campus argument UWO is the closest thing I've ever seen to an americna style campus, but its enormous and London often feels like ****in' Alaska.

As for Ryerson vs. St. George overall doesn't Ryerson let like anyone and their mother in?
