it wouldn't make a difference to the thieves that there is 4 different wheel locks. your just gonna get ur mechanic pissed at u for wasting his time.

When thieves goto steal ur wheels, they arne't gonna go coping 4 difference lock keys. They have a few different tools that grab the outside of the socket.

So it doesn't matter if you have 4 diffenent wheel locks or two different wheel locks.

If a thief wants ur wheels bad enough, they are gonna get them.

It not like i'm going to keep the wheel locks in my car, if anything my tire will blow, i can simply call an CAA and they will tow it for free.

Its really hard to take off the locks without scraching the rims, if they even sctrach it will be hard to sell because you can easily see that its this rims are jacked.

The easy way is to get the bmw key.

Rims can be refinished.

Anyway, you can get BMW locks, or can get aftermarket at Canadian Tire.

5k with tires?

lol you obviously haven't seen the tools out there to do it.

An e46 came into my shop, he lost the wheel lock key.

My uncle said 1 hour labour and they will be off without damaging the rim granteed.

Took me <10min to get all wheel locks 4 off.

yes, all wheel locks can be removed without a key. or you can get a gator-grip style tool which is made up of hundreds of pins. the pins fall into place regardless of what type of socket/key you have.

In either case, I personally prefer McGard wheel locks over the BMW wheel locks---especially since the McGard wheel locks are silver. They'd match your car much better.

I personally have two different styles of wheel locks on my BMW... plus locking stem-caps.

McGuard locks??

rofl.

All you need is a 12 point 3/4 socket and you bang it a few times then with a socket wrench undo.
