E36 m3 engine question.

S50B30 & S50B32 I belive those 2 engines didnt make it to Canada right?

I think those are the Euro spec engines. the 286 hp 3.0 L and the 321hp 3.2 L respectively. Other than the obvious 6 throttle bodies and the other less restrictive emission controls on them I believe the blocks were also aluminum. In US we just got aluminum heads. (i think, Im just going off memory here)

S50B30 made it to Canada only
S50B32 never made it to North America

Both eninge got cast iron block, not aluminum like M50/52(european/Z3 engines)

Oh yeah the M50... is the aluminim block.
werent the 325 and 328 in europe also aluminum blocks of our motors..

I have a 97 328ic. Does anyone know can I run euro spec cams from an S50 in my US spec M52.
