super- do you find the gear selector being in the center console better than it being on the steering colum ?

i would sooner have cup holders there

i LOVE it compared to our old buick which had the shifter at the steering column...it's definately unique as every1 think's it's the sh!t ...ultimately for REAL SUVs/trucks(ones where i'd be shifting for towing) i'd prefer the steering column shift.

very strict rule in my dad's pride&joy ...NO eating...only drinking outta sealable containers (e.g. bottles)
and those fit nicely in the cup holders on the centre console

seen here they flip out to cupholders:
either way it's a pita though because of the arm rest getting into the way...can't think of a time i've actually used them actively while driving....i may store drinks there but never reach for em
