The truth was you were not wearing your belt, and you were given a ticket for not wearing your belt. So obviously, the cop saw you not wearing your belt- I don't know why you don't think you've been caught dead to rights.

This is what I don't understand either.

You're guilty, and you've already admitted it. What's the problem?

And plus... not wearing a seatbelt? What if you hit a pole, flew out the windshield and landed on some kid innocently riding his bicycle? You could seriously hurt someone! ALWAYS WEAR YOUR SEATBELT!

Shitty to hear. I would go and fight it. Sont get any representation, because they wont get you any further than you can get yourself. Considering it was raining, make his visability worse. He cant from a stopped position have enough time to notice your not wearing your seatbelt. I dont care if hes got binoculars attacked to his head, no human being, from a stand still, in the rain, catch a seatbelt not being worn, by a car passing at 100km+

Go to court, make sure you take his badge home with you. They hand out police badges like they do licenses. ****ing sad society. Give him the finger while you leave the courtroom, after you win.

Fack da Poleece

Oh by the way, when in court, play the innocent student routine. Say you were on your way home from visiting your grandmother at home, and you always wear your seatbelt. Tell them that insurance these days are too high to be taking chances to be getting fines and points. Tell them you would never do something so immature, as to not wear a seatbelt.

Good luck.
