I never had a front plate on my car, however I do most of my driving in Michigan so it would explain it.

Well since you have an ONTARIO registered car, it is at their discretion to enforce it or not.

Thanks for the confirmations...on both the plate and the tops. I guess maybe its mandatory for those red light cameras and 407 cameras?

same reason as why 18 year old Ontario resident can legally buy alcohol in Quebec

I thought the Quebec police could only enforce their own provincial---or federal laws, not laws for another province or state?

if ontario resident gonna get a ticket in quebec, he/she gonna have to fight it in quebec.

So under what highway act they gonna proceed?
Quebec one for sure and since they dont have mandatory front licence plate in their highway act, you wont get a ticket
