so i found a lizard today.. pics



ok so im at work unloading a truck and we find a lizard hitching a ride on some tropical plants,

hes about the size of my pinky finger and his tail is huge, have no clue what species it is (mabey u guys can help) the plants came from southern florida

they look like normal lizards you see all the time around tampa. i remember in sarasota they have them everywhere.

um, as far as I know there is no such thing as an anode lizard. I think you mean a green anole. (can change color from green to brown). if he has a fan/bubble under his throat, its a male.. if not, its female. so it'd be a good idea to identify that right away, if it's a female there's a chance she's preggo.

I have a green anole at home. They are crazy fast so watch out when you handle him. Also get some type of heat lamp on him as he must be freezing here.
PS- he eats crickets,mealworms , anything like that

We use to find all sorts of lizards/insects in Banana boxes while unloading the trucks, when I used to work at Dominion a while back. All these weird colours and stuff.
