Thanks Tom, I figured it all out... took me an hour or so, but I eventually got it. VB.NET uses very different syntax from VB6. 
I wish there was still a demand for Assembly.

Forget .NET, start to use Powerbuilder. Since the syntax hasn't changed for yrs and yrs, they are up to version 10.x. Currently running 8 at work and been a LONG time since anything major has changed, unlike lame ass MS, they make major changes that effect developers that have to spend weeks rewriting code, should they need to upgrade there IDE's to something newer.
