I'm sure you can get Itunes form somwhere off the net, or get a friend that has an ipod to lend you the software. Must be nice to "find" one.

You should be able to just put MP3's on it off ur hard drive. I don't have an Ipod but it only seems logical that you can. And if you can't then I don't know how they stay in business.

just download itunes from Apple.com. It's free.
You don't have to register the ipod.

if you already have mp3's on your computer itunes will put them on your ipod if you want it to....if you "back up" a person's (friend or stranger's) music on to your computer as a mp3, you can put it on your ipod with itunes. and ripping cd's for backup reasons can be stored on your ipod, etc...

Just download iTunes and import the mp3's off your computer. iTunes will erase the songs on the iPod and write the songs from your computer. iTunes will not allow you to retrieve the music from the iPod (to prevent piracy), you will need software from a 3rd party if you want to do this.

FYI... if the iPod was formatted for a Mac, you will need to format it for a PC before you can use it.
