The pound is about 1.80 American dollars. that is 18k which you can get a used Explorer for. I'll take a 2002 Explorer Limited over this pos any day.

China has so much money and labour, why cant they make an effort and design quality items to get some respect as a serious auto manufacturer...all the major automotive manufacturers are there and the skill levels are very high in the tech sector so why do they keep pumping out products into the world market that is garbage. The Koreans learn the hard way but now the cars are pretty good...I will laugh at anyone that buys these cars, and try find someone foolish enough to pay millions for a dealership..

The entire car is what we call in the automotive world, a "crumple zone".

Yup, I wouldn't buy a chinese car right now, and probably won't for a long time.

Having said that, if they manage to do manufacture high quality electronics, they can do automobiles too...just not yet.

Give'em 20 years and they'll be just like another Honda/Toyota. You mark my words.

Even with technology transfer and companies being co-owned by government-foreign companies it takes time to learn how to do things properly, especially when it comings to engineering. There are too many components involved in the process that require expertise and precision: Design, manufacturing, quality control, material control, testing, etc.

^^i have personally wrecked a f150 going about 70mph straight into a tree and walked away, so did my friend in the front seat, what really kicked my ass was the cop whose tree i hit in his front yard.

but the trauck was really not that bad, the engine was in the cab, but the truck really held its ground.

but i really like the way the steering colum even has an airbag, it seems that you are going to get clobbered by the steering wheel anyway, why even bother.

I have cut up a ford tempo with Toronto Fire after it was in an accident. It looked the same as th 150. Goodbye legs.

Really makes you think twice about speeding, racing, etc.

3D face outlines in windsheilds, blood everywhere when there was only one person in the car. Nasty shit....

Wow - the VW's door can still be opened. Even the gap between the door and fender looks like it didn't shift. The F150 is no better than the Landwind!!??

Sweet jesus, what a heap of shit, anyone who allows cars like that to be produced should be put in prision with serial killers!

Whats really sad is that the F150 is no better, which makes you think how the FUKKK is that car allowed on public roads!!
