E21 checklist!

Hi...my friend is looking to buy a 1983 E21 320i. So im wondering if any of the members can post a checklist for buying an E21 and on what to look out for. Thanks

Mostly the same stuff as e30's just look out for rusting on the rear shock towers(common problem), leaking sunroof, and floor/ frame rust. Sunroof can be fixed but is a pain in the ass. Make sure you drive it for a while and turn it off and start it again. Tons of e21's have a warm start problem which means after driving it for a while if you shut it off and try and start it again relatively soon it will refuse to start until it cools down. Takes a lot of truobleshooting to fix.

2000$ and we went to check it out, and it turned out to be a clean car, we checked the roof (body in general) and the engine bay, opened the trunk, and we tried tried to look if there was any mistake with paint, under the body etc.. to check if the car has been hit before and so on...overall the car is in a great shape (perfect project car). Thanks for the help!
