Are these worth getting?

My driver side mirror is ****ed and needs replacing, so i was thinking of picking up a pair of these, they look like M3 mirrors with turn signals, pretty damn cheap...
Also, it says '3 wire' in description...will this work with my 540? (I do have power mirrors)
Opinions?...Paul?

I personally wouldn't touch them. I love the OEM look and that LED cheapens the look IMO. Also the glass in the cheaper Ebay LED M3 style/Nopi mirors is know to be shitty as well. That being said I have heard some good things about some aftermarket M5 mirrors. They are going to cost you a helluva lot less then the OEM ones. Used Oem will run you around $500-$600 USD if you can find them. Check out the link below and it will tell you everyhting you need to know about a mirror upgrade.

those aftermarket plastic mirrors are garbage.. where you screw the mirror to the base plate is just plain plastic, it's not even threaded metal...i modified mine by using some nutcerts/thread inserts from work... they were a little better,but still GARBAGE... stick with stock equipement !

Last i looked they were still on my car.But then again i have my dogs on the scent of Clarence,so you may have escaped with them.
