Hi,

Any chance someone in TO has the front balljoint removal tool, and the rear balljoint installation tool that they could lend/rent to me? For E39.

Part Source .Rent a tool for free. they charge ur credit card for the tool and once returned u will receive the full amount u payed.

charging your creditcard and then its free.....doesnt make sense. Since I can remember there's no free lunch. At least in this lifetime.

They charge the full amount to your CC in case you walk off with the tools, if you were to walk off with them then you just bought them. Once you return it, then you get the full refund back. I don't know it's not rocket science to figure it out, why they do it this way.

They are trying to build a relationship with the consumer. It's actually a great idea.

After reading some posts, I see that some other E39 drivers use a pickle fork successfully. I'm going to buy one for 20 bucks. Another E39 driver will split the rear balljoint tool with me.
