lol apparently no one around here likes driving their BMW's.
... west end people in TO don't want to go to the E30 meet because it's 25 min away in the east end of TO
... people from kitchener don't want to drive 20 min to go to a meet in Cambridge
yeah well unless the KW meets are in my driveway I'm not going because I don't want to drive anywhere... there's more BMW's in my driveway on a regular basis than the KW meets anyways
If you want to suggest another location... by all means, but you need be a bit flexible.
Maybe somewhere by sportsworld? That's like half way between kitchener and cambridge.

I'd drive to sportsworld. there's a timmies there. As long as the meet is in a timmies parking lot no-one gets hurt.

Hey guys,
I've been in Australia for about 3 months - been back in Ontario for a month or so... haven't really checked in on the forums.
What day / time / place are the meets now? It looks as though attendance has been a little lacking.
Let me know... I'll be at the next one.

well the kitchener kids are complaining the drive is too far so we were thinking about moving it to a timmies by sportsworld.
The next meet is next tuesday.
Assuming everyone seems to be ok with that I'll be making a new thread for the new location with a map, dates and times.

The Timmies parking lot at Sportsworld is fairly small, no???
Besides, have any of those guys that complained about the 20 minute drive even confirmed that they're coming??

Well that's the thing, they aren't coming because it's too far.
But you make a good point, the guys that don't want to make the drive are blk325's buddies who aren't even on the forum I'm assuming
..and yeah that parking lot is small (from looking on google maps satellite)

Yeah I'd vote for Moose Winooskies, big lot, and right by the road where everyone can see, and envy, our e30's

what time are you guys thinking of meeting there? I'm picking up my car this weekend, and i wouldn't mind meeting a few bmw guys and learning where the good shops to go to around town are.
I have a few ideas. just need to execute them
Oh, and as far as Kitchener people not driving to Cambridge.... why did we all get lisences if we are afraid to leave home?

LOL, this is also a very valid point.
I say for all those who are too lazy to drive 20 minutes, either you need a new job so you can afford 2 liters of gas, or sell your car and get a bus pass.
I would completely understand if we were living downtown toronto or something and we had to drive across the entire city on a time frame, since that can take 2 hours on it's own sometimes.
But we're pretty blessed here having the expressways we have in such small cities.
