Pretty straight forward. I only needed a second pair of hands to keep things from flopping around to reconnect the linkage. Also, it can be a little harder than you expect to find a lubricant that's suitable for plastic.

I see a lot of people declare instant happiness when they install the OEM or AM SSK.

I'm still giving myself time to adjust to it before I decide if I'll keep it this way. I may put a taller knob back on, perhaps a nice illuminated leather one. My tranny was already difficult to shift at times - a lot of resistance to enter 1 & 2. If I could solve that problem, the SS would be a better fit.

Maybe. It's been that way since I got the car at 38k.

Anyone going out tonight if the rain holds off?

my car should be ready today, but I don't know if it'll be in time for tonight. I still have to find someone to drive me to mississauga to pick it up after it's ready

Is this still because of the starter or something else?

two weeks ago, there was only 2 of us as well...

I think a NEW THREAD should be started, stating the time, how often the meets are and the location... I don't think anyone is going to read through 11 pages of posts to figure out the time and place. There might be a better turnout if people are aware of the details. Just my two cents.

That's probably a good idea. I'll try and draw up a new thread tonight with a map, date and time an we can get it stickied by a mod

Is everyone still cool with bi-weekly?

I'm good with bi-weekly as long as it's not on Mondays or Tuesdays...
