any of you track guys ever time yourself at shannonville (Fabi or long track) or mosport, just wondering what kind of time usually people run!!

I've always wanted to clock myself but still have not get around to buy the g-tec or any other device that can accurately measure the laptime. When I see g-tec for sale cheap then i will get it for sure.

I am too, very curious to check my time.

have you clocked yourself yet? If so, what kind of time were you getting? It would help me where I stand when I clock myself.

Last year in August at the SOLO I event at Mosport I had a timed lap in the mid 1:47.

Changed to a 3:73 diff in the winter (from a 2:93) and in April I had a few hand timed 1:45 laps and one 1:44:xx, but considering it's hand timed I would say, that is too optimistic.

I have not taken a time around Shannonville.

oh and that's with an 85 325es with an M50

I have some in-car video I can check out to see the times. Mind you- this was from last April and it was raining the whole day. Might have some times available from June30th, from my friend's in-car camera.

Only for Fabi(2.23km) and Pro-Track (2.47km).

I do around 78 flat on FABI not sure about Nelson as I am hitting that track this month.

As i post this topic, i think i should post my time!! I am not 100% sure of my time since its hand timed.

Mosport - fastest 1:43 flat (only done it once) -- usually between 1:43 - 1:45
Shannonville (long track) - usually 2:08.5
Shannonville (Fabi) - fastest 1:15.7x (forgot) (only done it once) usually run between 1:16 to 1:17

I am just a beginner to track, only ran mosport twice, and Fabi twice. The time is not very constant. The long track a ran the most for about 6 times that's why the time is more constant. Hope i can improve before the season ends.

those times are very fast. Faster than alot of solo 1 guys. The AVG lap time for solo 1 on fabi is 81 seconds.

I was running 1:43's to 1:45 at Mosport with the Mustang guys on Wednesday June 22nd.

My best on Fabi (so far ... only 1 event) is 75.837 ... the car's best is 72.849. Haven't been to Mosport with this one yet, but I sure can't wait!
