Technical exhaust question

I am getting a custom exhaust made for the 2.8i powered race car.
Would X pipes be a good idea or not?
How much back pressure the M52 needs?

most of the factory systems use an X pipe.. If your not running a catalitic your going to need to add sufficiant back presure. Run the longest 5" OD resinator you can fit, smack down the middle of the car. and a nice dual in dual out muffler.

Kinda copy the Supersprint race stuff

Take a look at the Active Autowerke track pipe as use it as a reference.

I know I'm going to invest in one in the future
