Look at the vin if it starts with "3" from Mexico "W" from Germany (super rare but yes their were a few that sneaked over). Not many from Brazil, while Mexican plant was being retrofitted for newer model year then the Brazilian plant took over production (Still no better the the Mexican version).

meh theres no difference anyway.

a casting is a casting, a motor made in mexico is going to be the same in germany. There can only be minute differences which dont add up to a whole lot
