M3 down...

So It's Friday afternoon, I get a call from my buddy saying he doesnt want to go to montreal anymore. I didn't wanna drive up by myself and meet everyone else there, so I stayed back. Partied w/ a few friends friday night, Saturday morning comes, brian_m3 calls me and wakes me up @ 3:15 in the afternoon, saying our friend Josie just tottaled her M3. I get outta bed, fly over to where he said it happened and see this. Her M3, smashed into a pole, an older caravan, on it's SIDE, with a lady trapped inside. Firefighters trying to work to cut the roof off the van to free the lady. Then I saw my friend josie, asked her what happend....she had some scratches on her arm, and a few more on her legs. Shes all shaken up, trying to explain, I wasn't really listening but all I got was the van made a left in front of her and she t- boned it causing it to flip?? I don't know the extent of the injuries of the woman in the van, but the entire roof was cut off and she was pulled out and taken away quickly in an ambulance. We'll see what happens from here. Once again, it feels so ****ed to see her M3 like this, knowing I was riding in it with her just this past Thursday night and seeing it at least 3-4 times a week since we're close friends. Heres some pics...from the day she went to pick it up, to the first day she put it in the garage.. to today
Some of you guys might remember her coming by to one of hte DQ meets last year, 4 blondes came, top down.. I know Tony was there, Randy, and a few others..

wow...that damage doesn't look all that bad compared to what it did to the van...i think i can honestly say if she was driving a civic or something she wuddn't be so lucky. I hope the woman in the other van is ok!

+1 for BMW strength in a crash

Looks like the damage is very hefty, it's probably not totaled but for sure looks like a $50,000 repair bill...
