I guess 90 k/mh runs aren't high end, but the ones I have been in are decent on the highway.

I just thought a 5.0L would beat you with over 800 pounds extra in the car that your claiming.

14.7, what does your run with 800 pounds extra in it?
If it had side dump exhaust, it isn't entirely stock though and knowing most stang guys, they usually have slight mods done to them which can easily produce a lot of hp/torque very quickly.

I know yours is not a stock 328 either, just thought with the extra weight the results would be different, but as mentioned before "nice kill regardless".

Exactly why I was suprised as well, but like I said, I didn't smoke him, I pulled on him slightly, but enough for him to be in my rear view at 200ish.

Maybe the Mustang had 801 lbs of nitrous in the trunk. And then it ran out, so it could only go 90 kph...

fox bodys are all in the 1st 2 gears, you can literally feel when they slow down at the begining of 3rd, like a brick wall.

they still have plenty of torque tho, nice race!

Weird... none of my stangs are the way you guys describe.

Thinair - wanna play against my '92 coupe? Or even my '88 Hatch which is nearly stock...
