gruppem-like intake

installed the intake tonite..
notice the sound.. and greater acceleration..
but i notice that.. there's not much air going into the intake.. and when i touch the surface of the CF box, it's warm.. anyone has the same problem??? did i install the intake incorrectly??? my intake doesn't fit perfectly.. i drive 04' 330ci.. tell me what's wrong.. i'm kinda lost!!

I don't think it should matter, of course at a stand still with no air rushing into the engine bay it will feel warm, but driving at normal or fast speeds that intake should be getting cold air....
