2005 Monaco GP

Great race, didn't expect it to be this exciting as in monaco there isnt usually any overtaking, but the end was basically breathtaking....
Kimi does it again, totally destroyed the opposotion...
great driving from BMW....overtaking Alonso at the end, did it in style (and webber even twice because of alonso)

1 Kimi Räikkönen McLaren-Mercedes Winner

2 Nick Heidfeld Williams-BMW +13.8 secs

3 Mark Webber Williams-BMW +18.4 secs

4 Fernando Alonso Renault +36.4 secs

5 Juan Pablo Montoya McLaren-Mercedes +36.6 secs

6 Ralf Schumacher Toyota +37.1 secs

7 Michael Schumacher Ferrari +37.2 secs

8 Rubens Barrichello Ferrari +37.5 secs

Yup, watched it. Good race!

The BMW's did a great job, and Kimi was excellent. Now Villeneuve!, What a dumb move! Especially on your own teamate! The team owners werent happy with his performance before, and now this. I dont think hell last long on that team.

There was nothing left of Alonso's tires at the end, practically looked like slicks - compared to the Kimis who still had significant treads!

Good race. Alonso was on a soft compound tire, which is why they were almost slick at teh end, also why he was so slow after his tires wore off.

btw, they did do everything to slow Ferrari down.
