Ive had a Gtp and it very capible of doing high 13's with the right tires/driver( intake,pulley,exhaust)... best mine did was 14.2 ...not great....

Gs-R can be quite fast for little cars.... on my g tech my buddy did a 6.35 0-100 --- headers / exhaust/ intake .... pretty impressive....

Best ive done was a 5.04 0-100 with my 18's on ..... i want 4.9 !!!

I once raced a modded GTP from an on-ramp, around 60-170. I could see the exhausts and gauges, but I have no idea what was in there. He pulled about 1.5 car lengths on me. I was expecting worse, I have a feeling their gearing must really suck. When I heard him shift it just lost all momentum.

gearing on GTP's suck I had a ton of shit done ot mine (98 GTP) I ran low 13's all day long

I know about the gearing, I met a guy with a modded Regal GS a few weeks back. He pulls on me quite hard, in a stock looking Buick! Haha, we must have ran like 5 times, that thing is quick. But once we go above ~160 the gearing on that car is hopeless.

What a sleeper though. I've always liked the idea of getting a GS over the GTP, and he just convinced me.

Regal GS and GTP's are exactly the same, they jus have differnt bodies.. otherwise they are exactly the same.... GT's arnt too slow but i say with those mods that it should have beaten the GSR if it was stock otherwise it is possible for the GSR to beat it.... My GTP was quick... we had a few things done to it, including the DHP computer which made a big difference... when you would hit the peddle to the end instead of shifting down 1 gear it would 2, giving pure power... but stock their gearing sucks like shit.. but they have lots of potential of being fast cars n only for straight lines....

LOL, I'd never own either. I get bored going in straight lines. But you really can't argue with their power/cost ratio.
